6:10-6:30 PM - Buses Depart Hotel Promptly at 6:10 PM for Les Bourgeois Vineyards - Meet outside hotel lobby between 6:00-6:10 PM. Transportation will be provided to the vineyard and back to the hotel. Everyone going MUST ride the buses due to the alcohol being served during the reception and dinner.

Description:  Organizations and HR professionals must comply with and stay abreast of ever-changing human resources laws and regulations. At times, the regulation doesn’t change, but how it is applied in the workplace may change. Organizations must quickly adapt to current issues and the altering landscape around gender equity, pay transparency, recent Supreme Court decisions, mental health in the workplace, AI, proposed changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act, workplace flexibility and more. Join Karen Shannon as she discusses HR Hot Topics, emerging risk, and HR trends for the future.
10:00-10:30 AM - Update on the Board and Trends in Engineering Licensure (Speaker: Judy Kempker, Executive Director, Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Landscape Architects)
Description:  Update on the makeup and business of the Board including discussion of licensing trends and how the passage of recent legislation has impacted the way the Board issues licenses to people applying by comity and those serving on active duty in the military.

Earlybird Meeting Registration Fee (register by Oct. 24):  Members - $225.00; Spouses/Guests - $125.00
Late Registration Fee (register after Oct. 24):  Members - $275.00; Spouses/Guests - $175.00

Cancellation Policy:  Full registration will be refunded if written notification is received on or before October 26, 2023. No refunds will be granted after this date, however, substitutions are welcome.

Recommended Attire:  Dress code for the business meetings is business casual. The dress code for the reception and dinner is casual.
